2024 UTME: Worried Nigerian boy displays message received after checking his UTME result via code

A Nigerian boy, Zion Clark, has expressed disappointment after encountering delays in accessing his 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) result via SMS.

The boy had used the prescribed code, sending ‘UTME RESULT‘ to 55019, anticipating immediate feedback on his exam performance.

However, instead of receiving his results promptly, Zion was met with a disheartening message indicating that his request was being processed, accompanied by a notification of a service charge of ₦50.

Subsequently, another text message informed him that the service for viewing the 2024 UTME results was unavailable at the moment.

Taking to Facebook to voice his frustration, he wrote;

“Today is 29 still nothing.” 

His post garnered attention from netizens, sparking discussions and calls for patience amidst the anticipation for the release of the exam results.
