Abroad-based lady cries out after opening package of oha leaves her father sent
A US-based Nigerian young lady broke down in tears after opening the package of oha leaves her father sent to her abroad.
The lady identified as @jackie.damsel on TikTok, revealed that the Oha leaves she asked her father to bring during his visit had all dried up before his arrival.
According to the lady, she had plans to prepare fresh oha soup on her father’s arrival to the US only to be met with dried oha leaves. She showcased the dried oha leaves that were wrapped with a newspaper.
She wrote: “When the OHA leaves you asked your dad to bring from Nigeria didn’t make it to the USA fresh. My only hope of eating fresh Oha soup (my favorite soup ever) is gone. And I was already planning on the video to make for you guys! I’m heartbroken. Does anyone know where I can get fresh Oha leaves in Texas?? I don’t mean frozen or dried ones please (don’t like the way it looks in the soup).”
